Q4 - Who would be the audience for your media product?
The audience for my film would be aimed at 15-21 year olds because my film is based on 3 teenagers who are struggling to live their lives. One character is unemployed, one is trying to get to university and the other is shop lifting. The targeted audience is appropriate as London is stereotyped of having those 3 characters.
Target Audience
- 17 years old
- Male & Female
- Enjoys British films and episodes such as Anuvahood and Misfits.
- Enjoys sports, hanging out with friends and going out
- Listens to hip hop and grime
A Teen film would include negative stereotypes of teenagers, I believe this would attract my target audience teenagers as they would like to see how society has stereotyped them in films, however not all teens are like how films tend to stereotype them. Also the Mise en scene engages the audience as the clothing which is worn by the three characters can relate to the stereotypes of teenagers in London.
